Great homemade baked goods, the ladies who own the place are absolutely lovely! They make a kick ass breakfast and lunch feels like you are in your grandma's kitchen for the day.

If you are looking for take out/ or a dinner in, I would highly recommend Scali's for pizza and such. They have a huge menu something for everyone even non pizza lovers. I am from the New Haven area originally, and am VERY familiar with NY pizza. This is a happy medium between the two!

Just down the street, about a 2 minute drive from he cottage. This is an absolutely gorgeous site to visit. It has stunning view of the Hudson and plenty of marked hiking trails. I would highly recommend following one of the marked trails such as the "NORTH TRAIL/ LAKE" it roughly takes about 45 minutes to complete.
There are also historic tours available on site. The park closes at sunset.
