It is a very cute little town with a nice downtown area where you can walk around the lake and maybe hit the farmer's market on Sundays. There's a water fountain where kids love to play and get wet. There are also many restaurants and coffee shops.

Beautiful springs! If you're visiting around January, you will get to see hundreds of manatees. If you're visiting during the summer you will get to go tubing and have a lot of water fun.
They also have boat rides year round, kayak and stand up rentals.
There's a nice big playground for kids, and lots of grass are for picnics. Make sure you check their website for more info, https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/blue-spring-state-park

Blue Springs
Beautiful springs! If you're visiting around January, you will get to see hundreds of manatees. If you're visiting during the summer you will get to go tubing and have a lot of water fun.
They also have boat rides year round, kayak and stand up rentals.

Family beach with calm waters and nice sand. We love spending our days here. There are parking lots with bathroom and outdoor showers. No walking distance places to eat, so we always bring a picnic.

Free parking, lots of great places to eat, great vibes, and some fun for the kids. My daughter is almost 3 years old, and loves to ride their carousel and train. She also loves to dine at Rainforest Cafe. We recommend parking at the Lime garage, which will lead you right inside the park.

We love their burgers, fries and shakes. But we also love where the restaurant is. The back of it is to a nice big lake, they have a ping pong table, lawn chairs... it's just a great place to eat, hang and relax.
