The Lodge at Cloudcroft is a must see. Nice restaurant, golf, and spa.

Fantastic little area of lava flow that occurred between 1500-5000 years ago. Great stop if you plan to drive to Carrizozo. Best to visit early in day in the summer as there is virtually no shade!
