I adore the Weeki Wachee mermaids. This bit of roadside America history is a treasure. Created in 1947 guests to the park have included Elvis Presley, Don Knotts, Esther Williams, Arthur Godfrey, Kevin Smith, and Larry the Cable Guy.
In 1982, Buccaneer Bay was opened with water slides, a lazy river, and a white sand beach for visitors to enjoy alongside the theater with the mermaid shows.

Essentially there are 5 museums in the world dedicated to the artwork of Salvador Dali. We are fortunate enough to have one less than 45 minutes away! Sincerely a must see.
