Capitol is nice restaurant to grab local and continental cuisines. The restaurant also has an outdoor seating area aswell as mini bakery inside.

If you want to try some traditional Ghanaian food then Buka is your best bet! As a tourist once, this was always my go to traditional restaurant. The food is great! Buka is located in Osu and a 10 min drive/taxi ride from Embassy Gardens.

Buka Restaurant Osu Accra
g7 10th StIf you want to try some traditional Ghanaian food then Buka is your best bet! As a tourist once, this was always my go to traditional restaurant. The food is great! Buka is located in Osu and a 10 min drive/taxi ride from Embassy Gardens.
Coco Lounge is another one of my favourites. The food is great, and again they serve a mixture of continental foods Pizza's, burgers, pasta's, salads, desserts etc. Coco Lounge is a 5 min drive/taxi ride depending on traffic, as this restaurant is not far from the airport. I would advise leaving a bit earlier if dining around rush hour.

Bistro 22 is lovely restaurant and one of my favourites. The food is great especially the pastas and salads. The ambience is also spot on! Most of the time you can arrive without a reservation however, I would advise to call beforehand to be on the safe side. Bistro 22 is located in Labone and is a 4 min drive/taxi ride from Embassy Gardens.

Sightseeing
Independence Square is a tourist favourite. This is national landmark where presidential ceremonies take place. You can also take pics right by the Black Star where it states Ghana's Independence date . I would highly recommend.

The arts centre is definitely worth a visit! You can buy souvenirs, paintings, woodworks, leather bags and so much more! its a great experience and a must visit if this is your first time in Accra/Ghana. Tip: Be prepared to bargain with the traders

Top Up Pharmacy is located in Osu, roughly ten mins from Embassy Gardens by car/taxi. The great thing is that the Pharmacy is that they are open 24 hours/7 days a week in case of any emergencies.
