The Gateway District is anchord by the Vivint Home Arena (Home of theUtah Jazz) , the SALT PALACE (Convention Center) , The Complex, the Depot and THE GATEWAY entertainment venue. Each is only a few short steps to the other. Mass transit is centered here with a hub uniting Traxx, Metro Bus Lines, and the FrontRunner. As well as shuttle services to mountain resorts. Public transportation is free within the "free fare zone" located in the Gateway District and the rest of City Center. Three large venues host top names in the music industry as well as an array of upcoming musicians from all genres. Dining ..... Events....the Neighborhood is buzzing with people outside all seasons. Definitely a vibe in the area.

THE GATEWAY has several dining choices including Flemings, Copper Canyon Grill House, Cucina Toscana and the newly opened HallPass. HallPass is a collection of homegrown local eateries with a variety of delicious options all centered around a full service bar and lounge. Think high end food court that grew up and is doing well. Inside and outside seating available.
THE GATEWAY routinely hosts exciting events for both visitors and locals alike. Our New Years Eve and Fourth of July Spectaculars are the place to be to celebrate with friends and family. Full Pop Up bars, food tents and Discos are located throughout THE GATEWAY and the incredible fireworks neverending! Weekly scheduled events include GOGA ...where Goats meet Yoga. Your work-out routine will never be the same after experiencing these little critters trying to help you with your yoga routine. Hysterical! And, what would Sundays be in Utah without Yoga and Beer or Bloody Mary's or Mimosas? Add a new element to your Sunday workouts while staying refreshed and hydrated with these delicious libations.
Its easy to watch the Utah Jazz or Utes win while staying here. Vivint Smart Home Arena is a block away and Rice-Eccles Stadium is a short TRAX ride up the hill. During the summer, take advantage of the Twilight Concerts at Pioneer Park and Saturday's huge Farmers Market starting at 800am. The Winter Farmers Market is located on the north end of THE GATEWAY in Olympic Plaza on Saturdays starting at 9am.

From hand scooped ice cream, fresh sushi, on site bakery and a full deli; the assortment of locally grown or produced foodstuffs will certainly satisfy any hunger pains one may encounter. Located just around the corner under THE GATEWAY bridge (about 200 feet) THE STORE is open daily til 10pm.
