The Renfrew Pub just is a couple of minutes down the road from The Great Escape. Their food is awesome, as is the atmosphere and the staff. They have THE BEST crispy chicken burger EVER! There is a pool table, and you can watch your favourite sport on anyone of 6 TV's whilst you enjoy. They have power when we lose it, and free WiFi (password portrenfrew). It is also 'Kids Friendly'. Great local place!

Although they are only open for part of the year, they have fresh seafood, amazing breakfast. They keep it local.

Is located at the dock of the Pacific Gateway Marina. Has great food, a good selection of beverages and you can sit inside or out. All right on the water.

Avatar Grove has Canada's Gnarliest Tree....a must see. There are hiking trails that can be as short or long as you like. Be sure to take your camera!

Botanical Beach itself is stunning. Spectacular beach, spectacular views!! It is a fairly steep walk down (and up), but its beauty is so worth it. Again, you will want to take your camera! Just remember that what you walk down, you must hike back up!

Botanical Beach itself is stunning. Spectacular beach, spectacular views!! It is a fairly steep walk down (and up), but its beauty is so worth it. Again, you will want to take your camera! Just remember that what you walk down, you must hike back up!

The General Store carries the essentials and a bit more. They also have a liquor section. Keep in mind they are only open from 11-7 daily. You will want to do the majority of your grocery shopping before you come, but they may have what you forgot.
