My Favorite Restaurants
Excellent all American comfort food with a twist. You won't leave hungry!
My personal favorites:
1) Fish and fries - Fresh Hand Cut Pacific Cod (I substitute the fries for a salad "Steve's style".)
2) Pastrami - Their own Pastrami with Grilled Onions & Bell Peppers, Swiss Cheese served on a Brioche Hoagie, a side of Kosher Dill pickles and House-made Aoili Mustard included.
3) The Danimal - Burger topped with Linguica, Thick Cut Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Jalapeno Bottle Caps, Lettuce & Hillbilly Sauce

Good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have a wide variety of food. My favorite is the breakfast burrito served "Scary Larry" (covered with sausage gravy).

Awesome high end food! This is where we go for a special night out. You'll easily drop a "c note" for two people but it is awesome! Bring cash, they don't take anything else. It's about 10 miles south on El Camino Real in the little town of Santa Margarita.

22317 El Camino RealAwesome high end food! This is where we go for a special night out. You'll easily drop a "c note" for two people but it is awesome! Bring cash, they don't take anything else. It's about 10 miles south on El Camino Real in the little town of Santa Margarita.
Great food, good value, also in Santa Margarita, (across the street from the Range). They usually have live music on Friday evenings. Call to verify, if you want to hear tunes.

Not much for atmosphere, but great Mexican food. Last night, I had a whole, deep fried Mojarra (fish), rice and beans. It was awesome.
