The View is fantastic and the food is pretty good. Really best on a cool evening before the sun goes down. Excellent salads as well as casual sandwiches.

Best for its proximity to the Cottage, they have recently upgraded their lakeside patio. Sadly, food is barely adequate. Inside is a relic of another time. Check-out the bar for its Delft tiles, but best to go on a nice afternoon or evening for a cocktail. Some evenings will feature a singer/guitarist.

This new restaurant / bar is about two miles away. It is a nice space, but small, and tight parking. The food is hit and miss, but it is a new place with potential. It has been a while since we have been there, so may be worth checking it!

America's oldest winery! About 35 - 40 min north. Definitely take a cellar tour. Super cool history and space. Wine is OK. Lunch restaurant is pretty good. They also do a bunch of events so check out their website.

For those looking for a moderately challenging hike, let's try the Surprise Lake Loop. It is an uphill walk with some rocky outcrops to get up. From the house, go down the hill, make a right, and go about 1.5 miles.
