Independent and foreign film centre! Highly recommend. Often they have great speakers and filmmakers who present their projects and give lectures. Several times a month they have great live music.

This is an adorable little village. A must visit. On Friday evenings there are living free concerts in the summer. Saturday am in summers, there is a fantastic farmer's market. Nice views of Northport Harbor, great restaurants, cafes, cute stores.

A gorgeous state park! Great for hiking, bird watching, and so on. You can ride bikes here as well. Even if you don't want to hike, the drive there is stunning.

It's a 30 minute drive to this beautiful ocean beach. If you go to the lighthouse at the end, there is a wooden path that takes you all the way to fire island by foot. The walk is easy and scenic!
