BFast: The Favorite Meal of the Day!
Breakfast at the beach is a favorite pastime for locals .. and boy, do we have some killer options! I consider myself a professional BFast'er, so here are my greatest hits that may or may not coincide with the Yelp's or the tourist books:
THE BEST FRENCH TOAST ON THE PLANET! (and if youre feeling super froggy, get the coconut version of this crowd favorite).
Expect to go into insulin shock afterwards, so drink lots of water and delicious coffee. Pancakes infused with fruit didnt hurt anyone, either.
The Mission Potatoes are legendary.
Tamales with green sauce are ridiculous.

Let's Eat Out Tonight
The beach is so spoiled with tons of amazing options within a mile or two of your home, where someone else can do the cleanup:
Cant. Go. Wrong. If you are uninitiated into Vietnamese phood (see what i did there ;) then start with:
Fresh Rolls (ask to hold the pork so its just shrimp)
Chicken Pho (its a soup, with delicious broth, noodles and yummy other fixings). I say chicken, because thats easy to start with. But i love the rare steak (it cooks in the broth so its not rare once you eat it) and even tofu.
YouTube how to personalize the broth to make it spicier, etc .. its FUN!
