Busy town, especially on market days! Lots of shops. Lots of WW2 history as its liberation was led by General Patton and there is a Square named in his honour, complete with WW2 tank.

A town with a good heart. Friendly. There is a romanesque basilica to visit. For the fans of motorbikes, there is a Harley Davidson festival here every July. There is also the world's biggest Babybel factory!

Classed as one of the prettiest villages in France, its ancient streets and castle are well worth a visit. One of my favourite places - I keep going back. Off-season it provides lovely quiet streets to explore and absolutely stunning views from the castle walls

The river Erve has hollowed out a canyon that is typical of limestone strata. The rocks are criss-crossed by crevices through which rainwater drains away, causing certain types of erosion and caves.
This creates a kind of natural landscape that is very similar to the limestone plateaus to be found in the southern part of the Massif Central.
