The closest park/botanical garden/zoo/aviary. Just a cute place to enjoy seeing the local plants with very old trees, local animals and birds. There are peacocks roaming all over, and it is a beautiful place to take pictures and enjoy some fresh air.

Have a proper resort day at Margaritaville on Hollywood Beach. You can book day passes at their pool and resort for $50 a person and $25 per child at resortpass.com. You can even rent out cabanas for the day. Resort Pass has plenty of other resorts to choose from.
