This is a small little intimate gem of Canmore. Their food menu is great, at a reasonable cost and the environment makes it very relaxed and easy to enjoy a wrap and a cup of coffee!

Yummy treats and baked good can be bought here! Locally owned and operated they are well known by locals... Tip, don't go Sunday- since they are a family based business they are not open Sundays! AGH!

The Summit Cafe has been around for a LONG TIME in Canmore, it is a breakfast/brunch favourite for locals.... so because of that it can be EXTREMELY busy during certain hours (hit and miss! Gotta get lucky). If you are breakfast person we recommend checking this place out for delicious Huevos Rancheros or Mexi Eggs!

1001 Cougar Creek DrThe Summit Cafe has been around for a LONG TIME in Canmore, it is a breakfast/brunch favourite for locals.... so because of that it can be EXTREMELY busy during certain hours (hit and miss! Gotta get lucky). If you are breakfast person we recommend checking this place out for delicious Huevos Rancheros or Mexi Eggs!
Sightseeing
This is an easy go-to Hike for some stunning views and beautiful water views. Easy access but because of that we find it can easily get quite busy! Go early in the morning to not be disappointed with parking and too many people. We recommend the "Hard Trail" versus "Easy"--if you can manage! The Easy is a wide straight road leading up whereas the other path lets you do a little bit more and lets you see more views of Canmore and small waterfall. (**if you rock climb there is access to some of that at the top of the trail)

Large recreational centre in Canmore! They have a climbing wall, fitness centre and swimming pool (with water slide and lazy river as well!).
They offer courses and child minding as well.

The Nordic Centre is a great spot for Cross-Country skiing in the winter time-- and fat biking.
In the summer time it's great for all other activities from running/strolling, biking, rollerblading and also disc golf!
