Open early, open every day (incl weeekends) and only a 5min walk away. They offer full breakfast, and lovely options for a quick snack or lunch. I like to sometimes opt for an easy dinner with one of their chicken pies or quiches they make instore and a side of one of their great salads. They are happy to combine a choice of salads in one container and normally have at least six salads to choose from.

Great Breakfast spot, you can find regular items and lots of new innovative offerings. Everytime I have been, the food feels really fresh and made with passion. Some items are art on a plate! Bookings ideal.

An iconic Christchurch café reopened their original premises, established in 1996, was destroyed in the earthquakes. Theres so much fun to be had at this place, its quirky yet perfectly executed with brilliant coffee / tea. Menu and Cabinet food well thought out and served with care.

Originally an 19th century industrial precinct from the 19th century now made home to good restaurants, no chain store shops, lovely fabric stores, NZ made apparel / keepsakes / food and an amazing little cinema (Deluxe cinemas). I've been to this cinema many times, they do lovely cheese boards, beverages and hot assorted nuts. Lunch, shops and a movie = a good afternoon out at The Tannery!
