Great menu, fresh eats - our fav is the mexican salad (large enough to share) and the guacamole & salsa are on point! Can't go wrong here -everything is good :) Located on the boardwalk (parking in season can be rough) so taking the trolley or biking can be good options...

Very casual - Simple local place with good sandwiches ... no fried food on the menu. They also deliver which is convenient if you have kids to put to bed! Decent view of the sound...

This is the closest restaurant to the house - it's just over a mile away (we often walk there - but we like walking :) parking in season can be rough - so biking or walking or trolley is a good route... Very family friendly - there's a playground near the downstairs seating area. Often live music downstairs as well. Good oysters. Lots of fried food options - good fresh fish.

1010 Fort Pickens RdThis is the closest restaurant to the house - it's just over a mile away (we often walk there - but we like walking :) parking in season can be rough - so biking or walking or trolley is a good route... Very family friendly - there's a playground near the downstairs seating area. Often live music downstairs as well. Good oysters. Lots of fried food options - good fresh fish.
Great view of the sound - cool atmosphere with outdoor furniture and fire pits on the lawn overlooking the sound.

If you care to venture in to town and check out this historic spot you can climb the stairs to the top ( a workout! no flip flops permitted) the view of the Gulf pass is spectacular - wonderful at sunset... there are also some walking trails and the oldest oak tree, a beach on the bay to walk and play and a little gift shop (this is a great stop if you also want to check out the Naval Aviation Museum as both are on the Pensacola Navy base : )
