This is a little gem! It's not opulent in any way but serves great coffee and a mighty fine selection of bread and cakes and the staff cannot do enough for its guests!

This is in Bowes Park, which is a 15 minute walk from our place or 1 stop on the train from Alexandra Palace. It's very close but very different to where we are in that Myddleton Road is much more 'urban' and The Step is a very 'on trend' venue serving delicious food, providing great music and good atmosphere. Definitely recommend an evening out here.

101 Myddleton RdThis is in Bowes Park, which is a 15 minute walk from our place or 1 stop on the train from Alexandra Palace. It's very close but very different to where we are in that Myddleton Road is much more 'urban' and The Step is a very 'on trend' venue serving delicious food, providing great music and good atmosphere. Definitely recommend an evening out here.
This is a superb market. It's on most Sundays and is a 'must' for anyone visiting the area. Sells colourful, delicious street food of every description and has the odd craft stall there too. Great for eating, grabbing a coffee and a crepe and for plain ole people watching:)

Muswell HillThis is a superb market. It's on most Sundays and is a 'must' for anyone visiting the area. Sells colourful, delicious street food of every description and has the odd craft stall there too. Great for eating, grabbing a coffee and a crepe and for plain ole people watching:)

Fringe is a gorgeous shop in every respect. It started out as a crafty shop and sells incredible materials and wool, but has expanded to include beautiful garments, jewellery and bags. You won't find anything 'high street' here!

This is an ace gift shop! It is a small venue but 2 local mum's have made it into a fabulous place for quirky and wonderful gifts of all descriptions. Try it, you will love it!

This is a very cool bar with a difference. Located in the heart of Crouch End which is a 5 minute 'uber' away from us or a 15 minute walk (or W3 bus will get you there in a jiffy!) Anyway, this bar sells good beer, great wine and decent 'pub grub' but the comedy downstairs is why we go. It's on most Saturday evenings and serves up excellent entertainment, often parodying the middle classes of North London

This has just opened up at Alexandra Palace Park and my sons and I love it! If you are visiting the area with children it is such a lot of fun and the kids will love you for the rest of the day after this, guaranteed!

This is another fab place on our doorstep. If you have children, they will love painting the ceramics here, but if you just fancy a coffee, you can pop in for that too. The Managers are Kay and Neil and they are fabulous and will always give you a very warm welcome!
