Todos los alimentos frescos están aquí: Carnes , pescados, verduras, frutas...y otros como huevos, quesos ó embutidos y conservas. Todos de gran calidad y a buén precio. Dos curiosidades: la 1º: en el bar del fondo os pueden cocinar a la plancha carnes o pescados que hayáis comprado en el mercado y consumirlas en su terraza o en casa. La 2ª: hay una tienda de libros viejos y de ocasión y los venden "al peso": 1Kgr.x 1 €.
All the fresh foods are here; meats, fish, vegetables, fruits(Spain is the orchard and the kitchen garden of Europe)...and others like eggs, cheeses or cured meats and pickles. Good cuality and good prices. Two peculiarities: the 1st: in the bar of it´s interior can cook on the griddle meats or fish that you have bought in the market and have them in it´s terrace(Plaza de las Cañas) or at home. The 2nd: there´s a shop in the market that sells old books, and they sell them to the weight: 1 kilox1€

Getting Around
La mejor manera de desplazarse por el casco antiguo es andando, pero para venir desde la Estación de Tren o la de Autobuses se puede coger el Bus urbano nº 3 en la parada de buses que hay en medio de las dos grandes estaciones, junto a la puerta del parking de la estación de trenes: "Renfe-Estación de Autobuses(oeste)". Te bajas en la parada "Diario Córdoba" o en la siguiente: "San Francisco"y de ahí a la Plaza de la Corredera son 5 min. a pie.
The best way to get around the old town is on walk, but to come from the Train Station or the Bus Station you can take the Urban Bus nº 3 at the bus stop in the middle of the two large stations, next to the parking door of the train station : "Renfe-Estación de Autobuses(oeste)". Muy recomendable para darse un paseo por los más de 2000 años de historia de Córdoba y tener una buena perspectiva y situar en el tiempo y en la historia los monumentos que veréis en la ciudad. Parks & Nature
Es el único Parque Natural Inter-Urbano que yo sepa. La diversidad y buen estado de la vegetación de rivera y la cantidad de aves, peces, anfibios y reptiles, todos rodeados por la ciudad y sus monumentos históricos, es algo que no se espera.
It is the only Inter-Urban Natural Park that I know of. The diversity and good condition of the riverside vegetation and the number of birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles, all surrounded by the city and its historical monuments, is something that is not expected.

Es el sitio con los platos típicos cordobeses más fiel a la tradición. Cocinados como lo haría una abuelita cordobesa...y a muy buen precio. Está un poco alejado (bueno, no tanto; solo 20 ó 30 min. a pie y el camino es espectacular), pero merece mucho la pena el paseo.
Is the place with the traditional cordobesian meals more faithful to the traditionals récipes. Cooked as would do it a cordobesian granny...and very good prices. It´s a little far away from the apartament...well, not too much: only 20-30 min. walk and the way through the roman bridge is spectacular, specially during evenings. It worth the pain to walk.

Presentación de los platos más que correcta y el personal que nos atendió siempre muy atento y correcto sincaer en la excesiva etiqueta y formalidad. Located in a beautiful old typical Cordovan house-patio with its pelargonium pots on the walls and window sills, and flowerbeds with its lemon tree, its jasmine and its "lady of the night", all very "lifelong", and its vintage decoration in consistency and with good taste. The cuisine surprises with its creativity and innovation, but always based on traditional cuisine...and with VERY delicious results!. Everything I tried I liked and a lot; the tuna taco, the artichokes with foie, great!, but there are always favorites and in my case it was the "flamenquín with black pudding and apple", surprising for its innovation and that you will love if you like the sweet-savory combination like me, and my favorite of all; the delicious "purrusalda of sardine" (much more in my case that I do not like raw fish at all and less of a strong flavor), the selection of desserts is also great. Presentation of the dishes more than correct and the staff that attended us always very attentive and correct without falling into excessive etiquette and formality. Value for money more than correct for the height of the kitchen they practice.
