Absolutely worth checking out if you have a car. A 25-30 minute drive, Great Falls is home to the Billy Goat Trails on both the MD and VA sides. It is gorgeous!

National Mall is home to famous monuments! It is only a few Metro stops away and definitely worth going to. The monuments are AMAZING at night :)
