This park is less than a block from the house. There are three lakes filled with birds and turtles. No fishing, but bird watching galore! Also a lovely place for a walk. Get to Belmar shopping center through the park.

One of the most beautiful places near us. The lake has a nature center in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Bird watching, fishing, and paddle boats. Walk downtown Evergreen for shopping, restaurants and historic charm. Less than a half hour away, and a beautiful drive!

One of the most beautiful places near us. The lake has a nature center in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Bird watching, fishing, and paddle boats. Walk downtown Evergreen for shopping, restaurants and historic charm. Less than a half hour away, and a beautiful drive!
Denver is proud of its zoo with good reason. Walkable and beautiful. Combine the day with the Natural History Museum, a short walk away, or stay in the park and have a picnic. Highly recommend.
