This is a great way to spend a few hours with friends or family zip-lining in the hidden jungles. The views over Phuket are simply breathtaking! A perfect day is Hanuman in the morning for some exercise, and then the beach in the afternoon for a swim and a cocktail watching the sunset.

Recently renovated and with thousands of tropical, colorful and exotic marine creatures, the Aquarium is a hit with youngsters who may not have come up this close and personal with such unusual sea life before. Over 30 tanks of freshwater and saltwater creatures give children lots to reasons to point and say, “Mom, look!” The price is very, very cheap for admission.

Ao Yon waterfall is another secret hidden gem in Panwa, mostly visited by locals who enjoy drinking and dating by the water on weekends. To get there drive along Panwa beach, then past Ao Yon Beach and you will reach a small rocky bay, the road leading to the waterfall is opposite of this bay, follow it for few kilometers. Very special and romantic and a great place to swim in clean crisp fresh water without the crowds or admission fee.

Ao Yon waterfall is another secret hidden gem in Panwa, mostly visited by locals who enjoy drinking and dating by the water on weekends. To get there drive along Panwa beach, then past Ao Yon Beach and you will reach a small rocky bay, the road leading to the waterfall is opposite of this bay, follow it for few kilometers. Very special and romantic and a great place to swim in clean crisp fresh water without the crowds or admission fee.

Phuket Walking Street and weekend market is called ‘Lard Yai’ by locals and is now the most popular attraction in Phuket Town. Every Sunday from 4 pm to 9 pm (and often beyond) the once quiet Thalang Road turns itself into a busy street. Downtown Phuket town you also have the ‘Indy Market‘ currently getting a facelift to become what apparently will be a small shopping mall. This small but fun Indy Market paved the way for this much larger street market located in the heart of the historical street of Phuket town: a teen gathering with street performances, where youngsters and creative Thai folk could sell their designs and ideas, all kinds of personal items and many little sweets and cakes.

Once a modest wooden shack, the restaurant grew in popularity and now displays a long row of tables and plastic chairs. Set on the east coast of Phuket, this fun restaurant is still mostly made of wood pillars with a thatched roof set on the beach. You will easily spot it between Panwa Boutique Beach Resort and Dream Sea Pool Villa. What makes The Beach Bar unique is its location. It’s right on the beach with the water so close that some tables and stools are standing in the water at high tide. As the Beach Bar is on the east coast, the sun also sets just opposite of the restaurant.
