You have to visit Elm Hill - it's the picture-postcard perfect medieval street, and if you start from Princes Street it will lead you down to Tombland and the Cathedral.

A lovely open space that leads you to the Cathedral, but also has some really interesting buildings. Check out Austine Steward's house, which is opposite one of the entrances to the Cathdral
