This is nice picnic place with a walk on the Carson River. Also part of this State Park is the Rock Point Mill site-the first quartz mill in Nevada. Fun to explore on the opposite side of HWY 50

Established in 1850's, one of the oldest constantly maintained in Nevada. It has a beautiful view of the valley. Also nearby Silver City & Virginia City have interesting cemeteries to explore.
