When I was there there were many families walking the trail as well as some little ones. Climbing is not too difficult and trail is well used however proper attire is suggested".
Trail consists of sand and it's the perfect hike on a wet or snowy day.
Reward is a fabulous view of the valley.

This is a quite slower way to enjoy the snow. Rent snowshoes or cross country skis and enjoy exploring our forest in the winter. Trail starts near Brighton Ski resort and gradually descends down the mountain ending at Solitude Ski Resort. Stop and have lunch before heading back to your transportation. A shuttle runs every 15-30 minutes to transport skiers back to Solitude Nordic Center.
