Manly Dam is a freshwater lake surrounded by native bushland and was once the water reservoir for Manly.
Boasting four picnic grounds with large shady trees, it is a gorgeous place for a picnic, walk and a swim and a pleasant alternative to the beach on scorching hot days. There are also fireplaces with wood provided, toilet facilities and a playground.
For the more adventurous and active there is a great circuit walk that goes around the entire dam.
