This is just a couple blocks from the airbnb, a very easy walk to several full blocks of massive city park. Includes a running track, a frisbee golf course, bark walking/running trails, ball fields, and paved paths.

Great for bird watching in morning and eves. Nice place for paddling around, or a quick dip really close to town.

Skinner's butte is on the north side of town with a good view of downtown. Back in the day- Eugene was marked from Skinner's butte on the north to Spencer's butte at the south, with Willamette St connecting them both (it still does today, the town has just grown out a bit!). Drive to the top, or take one of the hiking trails up for an urban hike. North side connects to the massive river trail system.
