Beautiful Harbourside park just minutes from the apartment. Head down early morning and join the throng of locals out for their morning walk, run or exercise regime. The park has many organised boot camp and workout groups, as well as exercise equipment for public use. You will also find tennis courts for hire for a Harbourside hit, as well as a playground, suitable for toddlers and two cafes. A great spot for an afternoon picnic or dinner al fresco The park is home to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia! Tourists can sign in for free as guests , just take your passport or ID along, and enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine and/or a bite to eat with stunning views.

One of our favourite parks in the neighbourhood and not to be missed. Tucked away down Ithaca Road, this Harbourside Park is a stunner and the best place to join locals for a picnic on a sunny day. Grab your supplies from Harris Farm and Bottega del Vino and head on down! You will also find a beautiful sunny cafe down there overlooking the harbour at the Elizabeth Bay Marina, as well as a cute children’s playground. Enjoy the views whilst the kids play!

One of our favourite parks in the neighbourhood and not to be missed. Tucked away down Ithaca Road, this Harbourside Park is a stunner and the best place to join locals for a picnic on a sunny day. Grab your supplies from Harris Farm and Bottega del Vino and head on down! You will also find a beautiful sunny cafe down there overlooking the harbour at the Elizabeth Bay Marina, as well as a cute children’s playground. Enjoy the views whilst the kids play!

Fitzroy Gardens

Located literally on the apartment’s doorstep, the heritage listed Fitzroy Gardens is famed for the iconic El Alamein Fountain. Every Saturday there is a Farmers Market, with a whole host of food stalls with excellent food offerings and cheap, fresh flowers. There is also an absolutely fantastic playground suitable for babies and toddlers and up. If you are visiting with children, this is a great spot to get them mixing and playing with the local children and families, of which there are many. A great time to visit this Potts Point institution is Saturday for breakfast/brunch in the sun.

Our favourite shop for groceries where you can pick up everything from fresh fruit & vegetables, meat and fresh seafood. Harris Farm Potts Point also offers a fantastic array of cheese, dips and charcuterie, as well as most ingredients you would ever require. The store also houses a Bourke Street Bakery where you can pick up an array of fresh breads, baguettes, pies, sausage rolls, pastries and cakes.

Harris Farm Potts Point also offers a fantastic array of cheese, dips and charcuterie, as well as most ingredients you would ever require. Woolworths is one of Australia’s two largest supermarkets. You will find two Metro stores in the area, one down Macleay Street on the left hand side and one just up from the train station.

Getting Around

Kings Cross Station

Just a few minutes walk from our doorstep. Excellent links with direct trains to the airport in just 15 minutes, as well as to the city, Surry Hills & Redfern, Bondi Junction, as well as down the coast to Woolongong. A little tip: on Sunday travel on public transport is just $2.59 all day, including any combination of buses, ferries and trains.
