There's a cafe on the wharf that's quite good. It's a nice walk from the apartment to this sweet little park where you can have a picnic or just hang on looking at the water.

Incredible salt water pool open Oct-May (check via google, because it can change)
The pool is on the harbour. 50 metres, great for lap swimming in a beautiful location. Walking distance from my place.... half an hour.
