Anne likes the copped plate (pork BBQ, red slaw and hush puppies). Josh goes for the chicken. Either way, you'll love it! We recommend visiting during lunch... the people watching is the best at that time. ;)

The trails in and through this park are great for walking, running, sight-seeing, and relaxing. Trails from Bur-Mill connect to the Bicentennial Greenway, taking you to the Greensboro Science Center, Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, and other scenic locations.

This is a great park for walking, biking, or jogging. A few times a year, Revolutionary War re-enactments are held here. The accompanying museum is worth a walk-through, and don't miss the massive statue of Nathaniel Greene ("Greensboro") near the park entrance.

There is just so much to do at this park! It has a splash pad in the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter, outdoor movie nights seasonally, and plenty of yoga, dance, and art classes to keep everyone in your party busy. The playground equipment is tops for the little tykes, too.
