Cotton tree beach is accessed through the caravan park and is a firm favourite with younger kids. It's protected and pretty calm.

A nice walk along the river to the lookout and then off to the right hand side is a lovely beach with rock pools to explore, some deep enough to snorkel around or even put in a kayak. Great spot with younger kids.

A great beach just south of Coolum to either surf, look in rock pools or play on the beach. Great for families. There is a flight of stairs to get there, but it's worth it.

A gorgeous spot and great for little kids. There is a lovely boardwalk, so bring scooters etc for the kids and there's a nice playground on the way.
