This place is AMAZING! Again perfect for all ages. But this is real adventure. Definitely a drive! possibly around an hour, maybe more depending on traffic! This place is AMAZING! Again perfect for all ages. But this is real adventure. Definitely a drive! possibly around an hour, maybe more depending on traffic! But worth it, and plenty more to see in this area. Do need to pre-book so try visiting this website; https://treeadventures.co.nz/ or give them a call in advance!

1 Uenuku WayGreat Mini Golf spot, actually closer to the airport! Also has a lovely butterfly creek next door. Both are great spots to visit.
Mini golf I feel is quite popular with the family as well. Good entertainment for a few hours along with some lunch.
Sightseeing
A great area, beautiful gardens and picnic spots. Perfect for a sunny day and taking a walk and bringing a picnic along or stop in at the cafe on sight for a nice coffee & snack.

Reasonably new location, but delicious, family friendly and also only a 2 minute drive from this property. Perfect if you feel like heading out rather than cooking 1 evening!

Perfect on a good sunny day, is more of a 35-45 minute drive but is a lovely beach. Pack a lunch! not a lot out there in terms of food outlets but the township is only about 10-15 minute drive from the actual beach.

Another lovely beach, white sand! again around 35 minute drive but in another direction, you pass through Clevedon - a lovely little village with markets, coffee, icecream/smoothie shop and at the beach you have a lovely cafe serving fresh seafood right on the beachfront.
Playground & park right opposite. Perfect for family day out.
