The Heights of Abraham is rightly famous for its landmark cable car which provides spectacular views accross The Derwent Valley. At the summit people can experience the Great Masson Cavern, Exhibitions, play areas and numerous picnic spots, the Vista Bar and Restaurant is a great place to eat, drink and enjoy stunning views of beautiful woodland.

Fabulous 8.5 mile walking and cycling trail around the lake from the door of Lakeview. Cycle hire with child seats, trailers & power assistance if needed. The Visitors Centre halfway round is a good spot to stop and re-fuel with restaurants serving food and cakes all day, Including an ice cream parlour & shops. Bird watching in Bird hides.
