Pikes Peak Summit House
Feeling adventurous? The Incline is not for the faint of heart, but is definitely worth it! A challenging, 1 mile staircase (2000 ft elevation gain), The Incline is a killer workout and is best done in the early morning.
Tips: Bring lots of water, wear sunscreen, and head out early for a parking spot. Be EXTREMELY careful with parking and make sure to read all the signs about paying so you don't get a ticket.
If you want to hike but don't feel up for The Incline, Barr Trail is a great alternative (switch back trails) to get to the top.
Time: Plan for about a 30 minute drive (one way) to the trailhead and around 2 hours for ascent/descent.
