Longish but easy hiking trail through forest to stunning rapids (check tide book). Nice to see marine traffic transiting or kayakers in the rapids.

Our very own 2x world champion Danger Dane (Hanna) is sponsored by Team Irene. There are now overnight RV parking spots in their lot for a small fee. Take line dancing or motorcycle safety classes. The beach is great here. Walk the pier, jump off if you dare! There’s shopping, eat in restaurants, takeout, coffee and baked goods. “Joes on the beach” is really good, try the Humboldt Squid.
