Great place to listen to live music. The street is lined with live music venues, mostly free with a drink minimum. I frequent Frenchman St often to listen to friends play. The best time to go is around 7pm.

Great, casual spot uptown to have drinks and let your hair down. They also have really good carribean food. Try the tacos too. There are several to choose from. Also, try the Painkiller cocktail.
