A beautiful historic inn in the center of Sturbridge. It has a restaurant (fair) but the bakery is to die for. The best I have been to in the New England area. Try their sticky buns--but really you can't go wrong with any of their bakery items.

2 School StMy favorite Italian restaurant in the area.
Another fine dining restaurant and one of my top choices; it offers more of an eclectic menu versus the other two fine dining I recommended (Rovezzi's and Sturbridge Seafood).

Terrific breakfast, best in the area. Don't let the outside fool you. On weekends, they have home made cinnamon bun french toast and many other tasty specials.

This is a nice drive and very picturesque regardless whatever the season. Their restaurant is fair but the experience is fun and worth it.

Shopping
There are many antique stores in Sturbridge and central Mass. Being an antique buff myself, I usually visit antique stores when I am in a new area/state. This is by far the best I have ever been in. Very fun to walk around.
