1,539 summit with beautiful 360 views of San Diego and views of Lake Murray. 2.9 mile hiking trail in the center of La Mesa/San Carlos area. Very do-able trail but take plenty of water as people underestimate the heat. Children accompanied by adults have been known to be able to make this hike, although it is a bit steep going down, no running for kids is preferred. Recommended to go earlier in the day to avoid heat.
