Best to have your own vehicle
You may be able to hail a ride-share from larger cities to get here...but getting one from here or around the area is very difficult.

Must Pack
Highly recommend comfortable shoes, preferably hiking shoes if you plan to explore nature.
Don't skip on the insect repellant, especially if you plan to explore nature.
Bring a backpack or other small bag for snacks, water bottles, insect repellant and a mini-first aid kit. All handy to have when exploring!
