Fantastic Vietnamese food down Ruthven Lane, another hidden gem off Byres Road, i recommend the pigeon! There are also lots of little unique shops down this lane great for browsing on lazy sundays.

Fantastic restaurant in Ashton Lane, which is a lively lane always full of the hustle and bustle. This restaurant is THE place to go and be seen! A little higher on the price range but fantastic food.

Walk along the river Kelvin on a sunny day and you will see all of Glasgow cycling, children playing, and dogs running! You can walk right along to the Botanic Gardens or Kelvingrove Park.

Great gardens, with big glasshouses and tearooms. June-August there is also a theatre season called 'Bard in the Botanics' where they put on Shakespeare plays in the open air. Tip: bring a cushion!
