A nice quiet beach and although there are no stores or restaurants there, it’s nice to visit if you want more of a private beach day, as less people go there.

State Park beach
This beach also does not have any restaurants or stores but if you want a full day in nature you can definitely find it here. It’s a bit further away but this state park is beautiful. It has a big pier that you walk over the intercoastal to get to the beach. They also have nature trails and kayak rentals available. Make sure to bring water and lunch!

They have a cafe, mini golf, water fun, and of course you get to see more animals as well as have the opportunity to feed a giraffe. Pack your bathing suits if you want to join in the water with the kids.

2003 Lion Country Safari RdA bigger zoo and although it's a bit further away, it's worth the drive. It’s a drive through safari where you can see animals from your car and after the safari you park and see the zoo. They have a cafe, mini golf, water fun, and of course you get to see more animals as well as have the opportunity to feed a giraffe. Pack your bathing suits if you want to join in the water with the kids.
