Christiansted is a town on the northern shore of St. Croix, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands. On the waterfront, the Christiansted National Historic Site features several buildings from the Danish colonial era. These include the Customs House, with an elegant stairway, and Fort Christiansvaern. Originally built in the 18th century to protect the town from pirate attacks, the fort displays cannons on its battlements.

The Buck is a hotel. They have a wonderful beach you can get a day pass for $10.

Shoy's is a beautiful. You go into the Buccaneer hotel turn to the right tell the gate guard you are going to Shoys. Follow the signs. park in parking lot. Walk through a wooded mangrove at the end of the mangrove to the end & voilá. You will need your own chairs or a blanket.

Beautiful hike. You can hike to Issac for a shot one mile hike or go longer to Jack bay. You can't beat the views. When you parking don't leave anything in your car. Leave windows down. I've never had a problem with someone breaking into my car but just to be safe.

Beautiful hike. You can hike to Issac for a shot one mile hike or go longer to Jack bay. You can't beat the views. When you parking don't leave anything in your car. Leave windows down. I've never had a problem with someone breaking into my car but just to be safe.

Taxi
Taxi service is tightly controlled on St. Croix and consists exclusively of 15 passenger vans that can potentially take multiple groups to multiple locations. Be sure to pre-arrange your ride home, because taxis aren’t generally cruising the island looking for fares, and they stop a little after sundown unless they know your needs ahead of time. There is a taxi stand in Christiansted near the Fort & Government house where they can be found during business hours.
