The whatcom county website has a description of the trails. It also connects to Galbraith Mountain which is a world class mountain biking destination with great views. Galbraith is the northern end of lookout mountain. Cougar ridge is a great mountain biking trail accessible from here.

Amazing viewpoint with panoramic views on Blanchard Mountain just 30 minutes from Lookout Mountain Lodge. There are hiking and mountain biking trails that depart from here. On the road up there are trail heads as well. .Because of some steep sections, a high clearance vehicle is recommended to get here if possible.
