Excellent place to hike as a family. As a family I enjoy the lower path, it is paved and pretty mild. There are beautiful rock faces, alot of ferns, a few cave features and at the end is a small waterfall/water pool (depending on rainfall). The upper rim is an entirely different experience that I myself have not tried and probably never will.

There are beautiful rock faces, alot of ferns, a few cave features and at the end is a small waterfall/water pool (depending on rainfall). The upper rim is an entirely different experience that I myself have not tried and probably never will.
Mining for gems and petting zoo are great fun for the children. It is very reasonably priced. There are picnic tables available as well if you wish to take a picnic.

Known to be more rugged terrain with cliffs. Not a favorite of mine due to sheer cliffs that are not apparent until your upon them! I personally recommend (emphatically) steering clear of this one if you are with children or pets.

Excellent place to hike and see a variety of rock formations/waterfalls/caves. Very popular on the weekends so hit this one early (at or before 10 a.m.) or during the weekdays.

Excellent selection of ice cream and extremely reasonable prices! Afterwards check out the adjacent 'petting zoo' (goats and a cute variety of deer), and Putt Putt Golf.
