Right here in Kanab, a max of 10 minutes away from Burro Flats High Desert Lodge. Almost all restaurants are locally owned and operated by families. Our Cuban restaurant is run by a Cuban family. Our Mexican restaurant is run by a Mexican family, and so on.

We love their calzone! They normally cut them into 3 pieces, and we try to remember to ask them to cut into only 2 pieces. That way they can be eaten by hand. Another family owned and operated business.

This park feels intimate and is open year around. Less crowded than some others. The road is along the top, so it is not necessary to hike in order to see the beautiful views, which are all along the east side of the road. A short hike of about a mile along a breathtaking mountainside. The cascade is only active during the warm months. But it’s still a nice hike even in the winter. Look for native Manzanita shrubs! Can be snowy in winter
