Come visit one of the top 10 public universities in the U.S.
With a drive less than 10 minutes away, you can see the impeccable architecture on the UC San Diego campus.
Most notable mentions are the Geisel Library (open to the public!) and the Fallen Star (a small cottage home perched at the top of Jacobs Engineering Hall).
For a parking tip, I recommend parking at Gliderport as it is free! I suggest wearing comfortable shoes since the walk can be long.

Highly recommend Landini's Pizzeria, Little Italy Food Hall, Salt & Straw, and Bobboi Natural Gelato.
As a side note, parking is extremely limited in Little Italy so I suggest parking near residential homes and walking to the location. 5-10 minute walk at most.
