Sally’s is probably the hippest bar/restaurant in the neighborhood and attracts a fun crowd. They’re food is Caribbean/Asian fusion with amazing small plates for sharing. They host movie nights and DJs. Highly recommend for people with kids and pets as there’s plenty of seating inside and outside!

Great arepas! Highly recommend the Leo arepa and the coconut shake.

Awesome Black-owned juice bar with smoothies and sandwiches. We always get the Fulton Street smoothie and a Jamaican pattie. They’re opening up a coconut stand next door for the summer!

Winona’s does not disappoint. It’s an incredibly chic and delicious restaurant tucked away on an unassuming street. Everything is thoughtfully prepared and the ingredients are high quality. They serve breakfast everyday which is a very rare thing in BK so take advantage!

A spacious neighborhood park designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (who also did Central Park and Prospeft Park!). The dog run was recently renovated and is quite large and clean. Multiple playgrounds and areas for lounging.

Right on the edge of Herbert Von King Park, we frequent this coffee shop a lot. The best iced matcha latte with oat milk and honey. Kid friendly and dog friendly.
