Less than a mile down the bike path, Noblebrau is our favorite neighborhood spot for live music, beverages and lunch or dinner. They don't offer a huge menu, but everything on it is fantastic. Along with some elevated brewery fare, they also normally offer a hearty salad and vegetarian option.

It's post-ride perfection: Huge outdoor space (with heaters in the winter), magical beer selection, the best burger and fries you'll ever eat (with vegetarian options), pups everywhere and mountain views. This is where you go to find happy people. Less than 2 miles down the bike path!

It's post-ride perfection: Huge outdoor space (with heaters in the winter), magical beer selection, the best burger and fries you'll ever eat (with vegetarian options), pups everywhere and mountain views. This is where you go to find happy people. Less than 2 miles down the bike path!

This drive-thru is often our stop on the way in or out of town. The offer all the typical BBQ joint options, but we recommend the salad. I don't know if it qualifies as healthy since it's covered in fried onions and cheese, but it's the best salad you'll ever eat! They also offer BBQ jackfruit for either the tacos or salad. Bonus: The people who work there are delightful.

Ecusta Brewing has a newly renovated location right on the bike path with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Their beer is some of our favorite, but the in-house Mexican restaurant, Gordingos, has elevated it to a must-visit. So good!

Sightseeing
Our favorite hike! It's a 15 minute from the house and about a 6 mile round trip hike. It's not easy breezy, but it's perfectly doable for any active person. The quintessential Blue Ridge view is worth the extra hustle.

It’s the closest waterfall to our house and the easiest to see—just park along the road and walk down the stairs. Pour a to-go cup of coffee and go first thing in the morning and you’ll have it all to yourself.

Pour a to-go cup of coffee and go first thing in the morning and you’ll have it all to yourself.
