Hands down, our favorite place to eat on the water. It’s just a short 5-minute boat ride from Niangua Nest, or it is accessible off the water. Wear your swimwear and enjoy eating and drinking while relaxing in the pools. On a hot summer day, you can also cool off inside the cave, which has soft sand and games for the whole family. Their pizza and chicken wings are the best!

Locally owned and just fantastic. We love to sit in this cute space and enjoy breakfast together as a family. Our favorite is the egg soufflé, and you can't beat their coffee.

We love coming to this quiet food stop at Encounter Cove . Their burgers are amazing, and you must try their shakes as well. Don’t forget to save some extra fries to feed the catfish and turtles right along the lake. If you plan ahead you can reserve some time on their water obstacle course for a small fee.

If you need to bribe the kids, or if it’s a rainy day and you need a place to go…. this is it! It has go carts, video games, ferris wheel, roller coaster, and bumper cars—all indoors. Conveniently located right across from the outlet malls, the kids can play, and mom can get her shopping fix across the street.

Then it's time to enjoy a relaxing float back to the resort at your own pace. Once there, they have a huge "slip-n-slide" for the whole family to join in. This has become a yearly tradition for our family.

Then it's time to enjoy a relaxing float back to the resort at your own pace. Once there, they have a huge "slip-n-slide" for the whole family to join in. This has become a yearly tradition for our family.
