Canoeing, fishing, hiking, swimming, bowling and just relaxing, grilling hot dogs and making memories. Several events take place during the summer months, such as Art on The Beach the end of June, Canoe Marathon the end of July and for more information you can contact our Chamber of Commerce at 989-739-7322. Bev's Place is 6 miles from downtown Oscoda. It is 3 miles from Van Etten beach & boat launch, with an outdoor pavilion (first come first served basis) outhouses and a rentable building for parties, etc. Contact Oscoda Twp. for more information at 989-739-3211 ext. 2. We are 6 miles from Foote Dam boat launch, beach & picnic area. Enjoy a trip up the beautiful AuSable River on the Riverboat Queen.

Some summer nights tend to get chilly at times. Bring comfortable shoes as there are some neat shops in Oscoda. A Coffee Shop, Thrift Store, a Movie Theater and more.
