To be honest, we haven't been there recently but it was nice the last time we went and it is within walking distance of the apartment - you could walk up the beach if you were going for lunch.

The only surviving , still-intact and still working windmill in the country. Very interesting history/story and a little cafe on site. Depending on the time of the year, you may also get to see it actually in action. Lovely scenic drive to get there as well.

Cherry Tree HillThe only surviving , still-intact and still working windmill in the country. Very interesting history/story and a little cafe on site. Depending on the time of the year, you may also get to see it actually in action. Lovely scenic drive to get there as well.

For garden lovers this is a unique experience as the garden has been created in the bowl of a huge collapsed cave. The owner has classical music playing softly in the background throughout the garden, which gives it an "other-worldly" feeling. At the end of your tour you are invited to sit and chat with the owner (and other guests) and enjoy refreshments - at an extra cost of course but well worth it - it felt 'special'.
